Feels Like a Monday

Two days ago, I scoffed about the "Feels Like Forecast" first introduced to my world by Brian's blog. Sometime after my post, the page's "Accu-Feel Forecast" was revised to have Tuesday feel like a Wednesday, and to predict that today, Thursday, would feel like a Monday. Well, aside from getting stuck waiting for a school bus to load yet again this morning, on the drive in I contemplated that today had a feel almost completely unlike a Monday.

Beware tempting fate, however. I pulled into a parking space, grabbed my briefcase (actually, too stuffy a term to describe it, but nothing else works), got out of the car, and noticed that said briefcase was oddly lightweight. Instantly I knew why: My day planner and enclosed Palm III were sitting right on the computer desk where I had left them last night. Fortunately they are not critical items to today's work, but I have already reached for it twice (once before I checked voicemail, and again before I was about to HotSync to an empty cradle). It's a good thing I intend to spend my afternoon prop shopping for a class I'm designing.
