More Signs

I forgot to add into the mix (between "ate some more" and "slept") that we also visited some of Atlanta's nightlife. This forgetting has nothing to do with what I drank, I am sure. We hit 3 bars... the first of which was the best, IMHO, and I agree with my friend who said that all the place needed was a dance floor. NONE of the spots we visited had space to dance, and yet they were playing extremly dancable music. The crowds seemed more interested in stand-and-model than dancing. Ah, well — didn't diminish the weekend.

The weirdest part of the barhopping was driving by (and not going in, because it looked very slow) the bar formerly known as "The Other Side" (can't remember the new name now, and neither could our hosts). This was the one that was bombed a few years back (circa Olympics time?). From the news coverage, I had always pictured it in a suburb, not between Midtown & Buckhead.
