Charo commercials notwithstanding, I had an amusing voicemail yesterday on my old work line. It was someone from Verizon, welcoming me and attempting to offer a hint of some sort. Unfortunately, the voicemail degraded into the kind of staticy stutter at which their competition pokes fun. I only wish I'd thought to somehow record it before I habitually deleted it.

According to Dan, my phone is very staticy, too. That is, until I discovered that I was always calling him whilst holding the microphone against my five o'clock shadow....
