Once Bj alerted me to the passing of Dave Thomas (founder of and spokesman for Wendy's), I was in the mood for a Big Bacon Classic. How disconcerting was it, when the drive-through window shut between the taking-of-the-money and the handing-of-the-food, to see Dave's smiling visage on a window sticker, inviting any and all to work for his company?

Forbes.com likened him and the potential continued use of his personality and image, to Walt Disney, who died 35 years ago.
