Tim's newest symptom of rapidly increasing geekiness struck a chord with me. I've had my own similar issue: typing "<br/>" to insert a soft return character in Word instead of just hitting "Enter."

Of course, while writing that I went and verified that the proper XHTML 1.0 way of writing that is to insert a space between the "r" and the "/" characters.
