Two Unrelated Things Randomly Noted Today

• Just west of John Young Parkway on SR 528 (aka "The Bee Line"), there are signs noting that you are crossing Shingle Creek, "The Headwaters of the Florida Everglades." While I do not doubt that the water from Shingle Creek drains into the Everglades eventually, is it really the true headwaters, or is the sign there because SR 528 is the primary route from the airport to all destinations Tourist?
  
  
• End of the last sentence of today's "Call to Confession" prayer at church, delivered by Rev. Carol Trissell: "...we acknowledge how far we are from what we were created to be."
