Happy 20-02-2002!
Even more numerically entertaining: tonight we will observe 20:02 20-02-2002, which, as was pointed out this morning on the news, last happened 1001 years ago (10:01 10-01-1001), and can not happen again, as there is no hour "30" on the 24-hour clock.
By the way, I know exactly when this odd fascination with numeric date sequences started: I was 7. The local news had a piece about how, earlier that day, the clock had read 12:34, on 5-6-78. (Of course, at the time, I didn't realize that Americans put the month first, while most people in the world put the date first, so I could have just as easily noted the same clock reading on the global stage a month later, on June 5.)
I so need professional help. ;)
