The Inevitable Has Happened

I knew it was coming. I mean, these kinds of things only last so long. And I did switch for a bit, so it lasted longer than normal. But when I was younger, it definitely lasted longer than this.

I used up my last pound of Starbucks Christmas Blend for the year.

Now mind you, this was the coffee that got me hooked on coffee—the first one after the Café Mocha and the Spicy Ibarra Hot Chocolate. It used to be my single pound of coffee would last from the time I purchased it (usually December) to the time Gazebo Blend came out (if I recall, roughly May). Now, it's lasted just about a single month, and it was the second pound. (I even went through a pound of something else, already ground, a gift to Dan from an employee who also works at Starbucks.)

So now I'll bide my time until the Gazebo is released, and dream of the day when they put up the Holiday sign again and sell me my Christmas Blend (and an Egg Nog Latte for good measure).

Actually, a well-timed drive to Tampa yesterday resulted in a new selection: the only-at-Nordstrom blend (yet roasted by Starbucks—they are both Seattle-based, after all), Debut.
