You're As Cold As Ice

Let's put the pieces together...

• I work on the 1st floor of a 4-floor building.
• The center of the building is open to all floors — almost reminds one of a prison design, but we'll ignore that for the moment.
• The executives are on the 4th floor, and presumably like to be comfortable at their desks.
• It's warming up outside, so the air conditioning is on full-blast.
• Cold air falls and collects on the ground.

Conclusion? I'm freezing at my desk. I went to the restroom only to wash my hands to warm them up. I'm thinking of gloves, and it's in the 80's outside. Now I know why everyone else in my department has a space heater at their desk. Brr.
