One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

Moved into my new home at my old workplace today. I was quite pleased to find a brand-spanking new Pentium 4 machine at my desk when I returned from the morning meeting (although it seems more sluggish than my Pentium 3...?). Unfortunately, they've got it on Administrator lockdown and i don't have the password, so I can't install Instant Messenger (I know, major bummer). It also didn't come with any form of high-capacity media drive (CD or Zip), so all the archive files I have on CDs and Zip disks are pretty useless to me. But hey, it's a machine. Now I just need my phone installed and a real desk chair, and I'll be set.
