Rain Day

Yesterday's rains were generally well-timed for my activities, aside from a downburst-dash across Epcot to make a lunch seating time (Japanese, yummy). Even better (for us), the rains picked up again in the evening, watering our lawn. The only downside was the accompanying thunder-and-lightening, which has apparently somehow affected our phone service. Ever since a particulary loud clap of thunder, our phone has been dead. It doesn't seem to have affected the actual phones in the house (none, including computers, seem to have damage), so I have hopes it's a problem at the local switch. Irony: Dan was just contemplating dropping the "LineGuard" feature because of its increased cost.
