So, the kind folks at Blogger tell us that Fortune has named them "Coolest Media Company of 2002." If only the Fortune article didn't start with such a to-the-point truth: "Nothing destroys productivity like blogs...." Thanks for reminding me.
Phone Update: The phone technician came out and removed one of the three redundant surge-protectors that the builders had installed on our phone lines. Apparently they'll replace all three when/if the last one blows out. He basically ended up going door-to-door in our neighborhood yesterday fixing the damage, and then would have to go back to the main box to "find where the dial tone is hiding." Had we dropped LineGuard, cost to fix would have been $160 (yes, even though "fix" == "remove" in this case). Paid so far into LineGuard account: less than $120. We're keeping it.
