Along For The Ride

So, I'm at home doing laundry (and, yes, nothing says "old and married" quite like sitting at home — alone — doing your laundry, on a Friday night). I took a load out of the washer to place it in the dryer, when I noticed something still in the washer. A dryer fabric-softener sheet. How did that ...? Oh, no. This probably means it hitched a ride on a piece of clothing that I wore at some point this week. I am so glad it didn't make a guest-appearance some other time, like, say in public. <sigh>
