Right Song, Right Time

Ever get introduced to a new song that just hits you because of where you are? I'd heard Evanescence's new single, "Bring Me To Life," on the radio, and asked a co-worker if I could borrow her album (Fallen). She thought it too "hard" for me, and was suprised that I love the album — it is my current play-until-I-get-tired-of-it CD. And while I adore that song, another track, "Tourniquet," hit me between the eyes.
i tried to kill the pain
but only brought more
i lay dying
and i'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal
i'm dying praying bleeding and screaming
am i too lost to be saved
am i too lost?

my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

do you remember me
lost for so long
will you be on the other side
or will you forget me
i'm dying praying bleeding and screaming
am i too lost to be saved
am i too lost?

my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

my wounds cry for the grave
my soul cries for deliverance
will i be denied Christ
tourniquet
my suicide
No need to go off and get worried on me — the last lines are stronger than I would use to describe my mood. But the song is on "repeat" as I write this.
