Here, apparently.
It's time once again for Gay Day at Disney. (It would appear I only made indirect reference to it last year.) One could tell as early as Tuesday evening, when the steady-stream of out-of-town muscleboys started buying day passes at my gym. It's conveniently located to some of the so-called "host hotels" for the weekend.
Even Ernie, of little. yellow. different. fame, is apparently out here somewhere. I'm guessing he's looking forward to it a bit more than his blog might let on — it's not cheap to come out here from SF for the week.
As for our participation, we were part of the official "kickoff party" at the Orlando Museum of Art on Tuesday — and probably 95% or more of the gay men I know in Orlando joined us. Today, we are both off from work. We did some shopping and errands, and then visited the business expo and pool at the Hotel Royal Plaza with Jorge. An hour of poolside chat and ogling men in bathing suits... hopefully I will soon (or at least next week) have a copy of the photo of Jorge and I test-sitting in a VW Beetle convertible.
We tend towards the cheap/free events. $10 for Tuesday's event was about right. Tonight's free admission for me to PI (Dan has an annual pass) is good. So is Saturday's free admission for us both to the Kingdom, and again to PI that night. Some may be attracted to the circuit-party style events that cost $75 or more each, but not us. But people-watching is the highlight for me, and I can do that sans ticket.
