Constant Corndog Craving

Ever just get a hunger for certain food stuck in your brain, and you know it's not going away till you eat some?

Last week, Dan microwaved some frozen corn dog nugget and french fry kid's meal. Mmmm... corn dog. That one wouldn't go away.

So Saturday, I decided to arrange my errands to include a trip to a mall with a Muscle Beach Lemonade, one of the Hot Dog On A Stick Brands, featuring the signature... Corndog. Unfortunately, they had apparently gone out of business, so I settled for Japanese quick-service.

Later in the day, I decided to swing by the outlet mall near my gym, because they have an A&W. Their "corn dog nuggets" are a full $2 more than a loaded hot dog. No thank you, I can surivive this craving.

Survive, that is, until I hit the grocery store, and the frozen corn dogs are in the freezer next to the frozen chicken. (Too) long a story short, I had corn dogs for dinner Saturday night, and there are three more for another time.

By the way, it seems I wasn't alone in the food-craving department: even Room Sixteen's Jdub had a craving for Cheetos and Slurpee. Let's blame it on the full moon.
