Timing Is Everything

Foolish me, trying to play the credit card billing cycle to my advantage. The cutoff date for one of my cards is around the first week of the month, and so I used the same card to pay for last month's Chicago hotel, and the Bachelor Party Pad of this past weekend. I just peeked online, and they just issued the new statement. Guess which side of the cutoff both charges hit. Even though both are pre-paid, shared expenses... dang, that's one high credit card bill.
