Greetings from Seattle... We were pretty well along the way to making this a true get-away vacation, until tonight. Happening into a tea-dance opportunity, the first thing we saw (at the cover-charging cashier) were flyers for Gay Days Orlando. Shortly after, we saw local female impersonators Stephanie Shippae and Paige King on video, something apparently taped at the formerly-known-as Southern Nights. Following that, the video segued to the Suncoast Resort in Tampa. We started conversation with some locals, who expressed the anticipated amazement that we had chosen to vacation in Seattle from Florida, instead of the other way around.
We've been here less than 36 hours, though, and already I feel so relaxed and at home it's nearly inexpressible.
