What five (5) things do you miss about your childhood?
Rule #1: Remove the blog at #1 from the following list and bump every one up one place. Add your blog's name in the #5 spot. Link to each of the other blogs for the desired cross pollination effect.
- More Than My Luggage
- Welcome to My Truth
- A Spider's Web in Thornton Park
- Mountain Cabin
- mid-afternoon snack
- Mountains - The tallest "mountains" in Florida were built by Disney. I'm used to the more-than-7,000-foot variety.
- Hiking/Camping - The heat, humidity and voracious bugs here just don't give me the same enjoyment. I miss waking up freezing in July and smelling the fresh air of a moist pine forest.
- A piano - I play (or used to), but the darn things are kind of expensive. I miss having one in the living room.
- Rocky coasts - The utter flatness of Florida beaches (broken only by inlets and rivers) just doesn't compare with the cliffs and tidepools of the Oregon Coast.
- Simplicity - Maybe it's a cop-out, but life was so much simpler when my needs were provided for by my parents, and life was more take-it-as-it-comes. No planning ahead, no saving for retirement, no jockeying for the next job.
