Even though we're outside the Cone of Uncertainty on Dennis' forecast track, I still find myself thinking I should have done something more to prepare. Most of the forecasts imply we'll just have a breezy, wet weekend, but I still have this gnawing feeling that it's going to be much worse. And all I managed to do was move the grill into the garage and fill the gas tank on the car — fortunately, I did this before work, and before the prices all shot up 10 cents a gallon.
(By the way: I am thoroughly and completely over the "Dennis the Menace" references, and I don't think it's because of two members of my family who have the name "Dennis.")
