Two Friday Thoughts

1. I have so much going on at work — balancing so many high-profile projects and high-maintenance people — that I find it hard to focus on one at a time. I described the feeling to someone as almost like my brain has been wrapped in cotton.
2. Related to (and perhaps because of) the above, I really covet a week, alone, in a cabin in the forest. No computer, no phone, no TV... just some books and the sound of natural quiet.
