Oh, that briefly-alluded-to vacation? Um, I'm here, in sunny Southern Oregon. Downtime weekend completed (though naturally I could do another), and midway through the parental visit.
Then, I'll be back at work in Florida for two weeks, and off yet again to another LAX business trip. In four weeks I will have completed two roundtrip East Coast-West Coast trips.
Actually, counting last October's leisure trip to Southern California, this May's SF trip, the current trip and the three business trips, I will have been on Pacific Time for six weeks between Oct. 1, 2005 and Nov. 2, 2006. I think that adds up to nearly 80 hours spent in airplanes — and we won't even go into hours spent in airPORTS. All that thinking makes me feel like I need a vacation.
Wait.....you are on vacation so no more for you mister :-)
