Wild Wednesdays

Last Friday, after work, I had to run downtown on a Chorus errand. Amazingly, there was no traffic to speak of.

Again, two days ago, on a Monday: headed downtown from work and barely tapped the brake pedal on my way to the Chorus office.

Today, I prepare for yet another Chorus-related jaunt to the city center … and Traffic.com — not 100% accurate, but far, far better than the usually-wrong, State-sponsored 511 system — reports the freeway is backed up the last 8 miles or so of my trip, and it's still an hour before I'll have a chance to head that way.

Why, God, why?
