Then And Now

That tearing sound you're hearing? Just the space-time continuum being rent asunder, as my old high school choir presents an all-Disney concert. (Wish I could drop in to hear it!) They'll be singing in the Lynn Sjolund Auditorium, which was named during my time there for a previous choral director — and the OGC will be doing a song by Paul Sjolund at our show next month. (From what I can tell, amazingly, there seems to be no discernable, direct connection between the two.)

Of course, you may also be hearing the mild weeping-and-gnashing-of-teeth caused by my realization (made while writing this post) that my high school graduation is now almost exactly the midpoint of my life to date.

(Side note: it's probably not fair to ask for new content on others' sites and then not post anything here. Oops.)

  1. As much as they are called "reunions," they are nothing more than "reminders" of how old we are!

  2. Oh, it's the Sjolund Effect. Totally famous.
