Is there nothing good on network TV in the summer because no one is watching?
Or is no one watching because there's nothing good on summer TV?
(In our household, it's the latter. We'd be watching TV on the same schedule as any other season if there was anything worth watching. Our lives don't change just because someone else's kids are out of school. Thank goodness we finally got a DVR, so we can enjoy Kathy Griffin and The Big Gay Sketch Show on our schedule. But there isn't a single show on the DVR right now from a major network.)
Check out the Middleman on ABC Family Monday nights. Its kinda like Pushing Daisies in style, but Men in Black in content. And its freakin' hysterical!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's fine that the networks are in reruns. There's Weeds on Showtime, and the fabulous Kathy Griffon, and the psycho house flipper on Flipping Out to watch. And there's yummy Joel McHale on the Soup to show us all the good bits on all the other shows.
ReplyDeleteGotta love DVRs! I can't watch TV without one anymore.
