BOBBed

This evening's BOBB gathering was, as usual, a delight. There was even my first Boyd sighting, although since Daniel is not well, we still have yet to have a whole-BOBB gathering. As fate would have it, Boyd and I were the first to arrive, and having not yet met, stood outside each waiting for at least one recognizable other to join. Who knew we were waiting for the same people?

The White Wolf Cafe now has "real" restaurant menus, in those plasticky covers and everything. There even seemed to be at least one new item on there. Somewhere.

On the drive home, I-4 was backed up before OBT, so I diverted off at Kaley, rejoining an empty freeway at OBT. Just before reaching Universal, the overhead signs warned of "Congestion between SR-528 & SR-536: 10 min. delay." (SR-528 is the Bee Line; SR-536 is at Epcot.) Having already done one side-street traffic dodge, I decided 10 minutes was acceptable. It actually wasn't that bad; the only frustrating part was discovering the source of the delay. You got it: another overhead sign right before Lake Buena Vista alerting drivers that the congestion was about to clear. Everyone was slowing down to read it. (sigh)
