My Olympics Aren't In Utah
I watched almost none of the Winter Olympics this year. It just couldn't hold my attention, although I have less of an opinion about them than Tim. So Dewayne's reference to Turin was lost on me—at the time, I could only think, "Shroud of Turin?"—but reading the post-mortem on these Games perhaps shed the light. As an Olympics fan, maybe he was alluding to the next Games' destination.
I always picture the mountain range in Washington State when I hear "Olympics," mostly out of wishful thinking. One day I will manage to do the trip around them—although I doubt through will happen, mainly because I'm not that into hiking " camping as companion events. See, there are no roads through the interior of the Olympics; I am satisfied at this point to drive to the edge and peer in.
