I've Heard They Say It's Healthy
I find myself daydreaming about living in Seattle more and more. Of course, I feed the addiction by visiting the city almost every year, during late May when it warms up and generally stops raining for a few months. I've lived there in the past (albeit when I was 13), so I know first-hand what the nine-months-of-rain is like, and how the city shuts down when it does snow (you try driving a stick-shift car up a 35-degree incline that's covered in snow, and coming to a stoplight before you can level out!). But nothing in my life says "peace" quite like sitting on one of the Northwest's rocky Pacific shores, or hiking in the mountains with the sound of the breeze through the forest. It even outranks cruising as a recharge-and-refresh vacation.
