When I first returned to DU from my redeployment, I discovered my phone had been removed (even though my phone NUMBER continued to exist — it was forwarded to a voicemail box). A replacement (with the same number) was reinstalled shortly after I was assigned to my new cubicle. Unfortunately, I discovered that the message indicators didn't work. The only way to find out if I had messages waiting was to dial into the system. I called Repair, and was told I needed to contact my Telephone Coordinator. Fine, done.
Today, it looked like something had been done to the phone: the phone cable was pulled up from behind the desk, at least. But now, not only do the message indicators not work, but the speakerphone doesn't, either. At this rate, I halfway expect to find a tin can and string in here by July.
