Better Late Than Never?

In the "getting caught up" department... two weeks ago I was invited on a "VIP" safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom — just shortly after this trip with Dewayne and Dan. The difference is, the VIP version is conducted in a modified 15-passenger van, with a motorized lifting roof, so you can stand as you drive the savannah. The best part is you're not restricted to the normal ride path — the driver can take you just about anywhere, even very up close and personal. And stop for photos, as we did here. Even that doesn't help with the more skittish ones, though. Very cool.
