Very Sad

It's not just the current news and tonight's Presidential speech — but maybe that's just the nail in the coffin. I sort back to my closing comment from this entry, made on September 25, 2001: "The other thing that occurs to me is how likely it is that the current situation (call it war if you will) will outlast my lifetime."
