I'm sure no one would be surprised to learn that others in our office sometimes use the fax machine to send out personal documents.

I don't know how many people know that if the fax machine encounters a busy signal or any other error, it prints a report page with the error and the first page of the document you tried to send.

So, if you were going to send, say, your résumé to a competitor, you just might want to stick around to see if it went through, so no one else sees the message that you're trying to leave...
