Duh.

I have to admit, I've never been a fan of Wal-Mart. Somehow, they remind me of a big corporate bully. My last two visits (to different locations — and over a year ago) ended in me leaving my items behind in the "Express" check-out lane, after the 10-deep line did not move in 15 minutes. There has always just been something about the store that made me question its corporate ethics, and for me, ethical standard is worth more than saving a dollar or two. All I ever see in the news is how they insist that continually building their big-box stores will utlimately overcome the cries of local communities who try to block construction. They have, in my estimation, literally bulldozed their way across the countryside.

Seems Wal-Mart has finally noticed their reputation. Their solution? Advertise their way out.

Nice.
