The lack of blogging this round is because, of course, of the long-awaited vacation. Tonight (and the next few nights) I am at the home of the parentals in sunny Southern Oregon.
Karma said it was time to go: Thursday night I had dinner with Dan at TGIFriday's... and the Go-Go's "Vacation" played on the BGM. I smiled, Dan did not. He is still in Florida, working long hours.
I learned early on this trip that my employer is inescapable. The In-Flight Entertainment included an episode of an ABC sitcom. (I believe it was something-Lopez. I rarely watch broadcast TV these days.)
More later, if I remember it. There have been many bloggable moments thus far, but my father keeps the house at sub-zero temperatures at night, and my fingers are freezing up.
