Work Weak

I had not noticed how much I tend to blog from my desk, until I spent this past week in a room where all gathered could see my screen. But as of tonight, not only can I blog from home, I can blog from BED. The WiFi is up and runnin'. So, in recap, here are some week highlights.

I spent the past two evenings at work sitting around doing nothing 5:30p-6:00p, waiting for an executive to make a decision. Different exec each day, but still very annoying. I hope this doesn't happen on Monday....

Wednesday was another choir rehearsal. I'm convinced all the participants who couldn't sing were there that night, especially the woman I call "Roz," sitting behind me. (She is named after the character in Monsters, Inc.) She is one of the female tenors, but she couldn't exactly sing the lower notes. What she did, instead, was just sing the lowest note she could. Not helpful when one is trying to learn the actual part.

Thursday night, Dewayne introduced me to Beau. Quite a charming fellow, one whose blog I clearly need to read more often. For me, the most entertaining moment of the evening: Dan was being flirty with our Beau (who is happily husbanded); Beau deadpanned to me, "you can take the boy out of the trailer...."

As usual, I'm sure there was more, but the brain fails.
