In-line comment

I started a response to Bj's comment on yesterday's entry, and it became worth an entry itself. For context, she wrote:
Not sure who you can "move on" to. Edwards and Kerry are both opposed to gay marriage. Kerry's opposed to the amendment and thinks states are able to determine who is and who is not married.
My thought: This was only the latest symptom, and I didn't mean to imply this was the litmus-test issue on which to vote. But yes, I agree, I am back where I recall being the first year I could vote: wishing there was an option on the ballot that read, "No one on this ballot is a winner. Please send them all back and try again."

Of course, after that election, Clinton didn't turn out quite as bad as I'd feared....
