- Anyone who walks slowly, blocking traffic, on the way out of a 2-hour film, has never desperately had to use the restroom after a movie.
- Friday's rainstorm flooded the onramp from a local road to the freeway. Two cars were off the sides of the road, and yet cars were still trying to zoom through, sending waves up the sides of the stranded cars. Nice, folks, nice. (The police were nearby, so rectification was nearby.)
- In the "all that and a bag of donuts" category, the JoyBoyz group was certainly the gayest gathering ever at the Smokey Bones. Witness how the "cute weatherman" on CNN got more attention than any of the sporting events. But it almost was not to be. Chipotle was the planned target, but they were mysteriously closed — because it was Sunday, or because it was a National Holiday? We are not sure.
- I like trying to fix things. And I get upset and difficult when I can't. Who knew it would be all about me?

My Two Cents Worth
I can generally rely on Dewayne to do a fantastic job recapping the weekend, and so I don't really even need to comment. That said, I can just add a couple of random observances of human behavior (mine and others):

I'm disappointed in myself for not remembering the old game Brian and I used to threaten to play at Smokey Bones. You know, pretend to be the manager and go up to the het tables and say "thank you for coming to Gay and Lesbian Night at the Smokey Bones."

It was closed becuase it was the 4th. I guess next Sunday :-)
