More Charley

I've put an animated GIF of radar images from Charley's trek here. I took snapshots about every 30-45 minutes, and I've marked where we live for your reference.

We had thought winds couldn't have gotten that bad where we are. Aside from the second-hand info mentioned before, I found the below map at www.floridadisaster.org, mapping the storm's path. It shows winds at our house over 74mph between 9 and 10 p.m. (we are near the green X):

Wind distribution of Charley

Last hurricane in Orlando was 44 years ago. I shouldn't have to deal with another one until I'm 77. Right?

Updated: A few photos over here, too.
