Lots of Knocking On Wood

Well, so far, I've heard from Jorge/Dewayne (co-riding out the storm at Casa du Jorge), Bj, and Daniel (riding out veryfarnorth in Altamonte Springs) — all have lost power. Last update from the McCrafts, they still had power, this morning. We just called the house and the answering machine picked up. We consider this a good sign thus far, although the eye's closet approach to the house is still slated for about 2:00 this afternoon. Now all that could be wrong are broken windows or looting. (Said in jest, really.) So we are doing a lot of the "knock on wood" superstitious behavior.

Of course Miss F (we've stopped using her name) has done lots of knocking on wood herself, which is why the power has gone out so early in the game...
