My Last 2004 Political Entry (I Think)

I decided to compare how I voted against my county. (I'd try to search the precinct results but there's too much to read. I'm at least pleased to know that Precinct 84 voted for Kerry.)

Of candidates running opposed, I voted for exactly one winner: the County Supervisor of Elections. (I didn't vote for any unopposed.) Every judge got re-appointed. Even for the three Water Board positions, where I had a 50% chance of picking the winner in each race, I picked the loser — and I didn't vote for the candidate listed second every time.

Of 7 State Constitutional Amendments (there were eight but I skipped one), I voted with the majority twice. On county issues, I was split - picked the loser once and the winner once.

When you go to the state level, I fared even worse. I only voted for one Amendment that passed. All the others, I voted the opposite of the majority.
