Yet another 10-year anniversary is upon me: ten years of continuous employment with a single company. Technically, my anniversary date is this Friday, but they gave me the little wood-and-metal plaque and 10-year pin today at a staff meeting. Knowing how much I adore public recognition (not at all, actually), my boss bought little blow-out party horns... that made no noise whatsoever. Perfect.
Now, it's just time for that 10-year bonus, right? RIGHT? (cue: sound of crickets)
If you get a 10 year bonus... Where the hell did mine go?!? I am still waiting for it... >:-((
