End of Round One

I woke up this morning to the first real feeder band from Hurricane Dennis pounding against the house... and a nagging feeling I really should have done something more to prepare. The TV reassures me, though, that we have nothing more to worry about than some driving rain, windy conditions, and the possibility of small tornadoes. And now, it's stopped raining again... for the moment.

This snapshot of the long-range radar from Tampa Bay shows that first squall line up here by Orlando, and a glimpse of the eye down by Key West:


Taking a look from Key West's own radar, you see probably the entire storm:
