The little switch-bots in the local phone system are undoubtedly having a grand old time this morning. This morning, Disney started taking reservations for their 10- and 11-night Mediterranean cruises next summer, and the two 14-night cruises that get the ship there and back, flooding a nearby call center with the demands of Disneyphiles the world over. At the same time, Madonna fanatics are able to start snagging tickets to her summer Confessions Tour (six days before sales open to mere mortals such as I).
Pair these with today's DVD releases of Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and Brokeback Mountain, and today is an auspicious date for all the consumers of fine family products.
We really want to do one of the Mediterranean cruises sometime.
ReplyDeleteHaving worked at 3 major cruise lines (RCCL, RSSC, DCL), that's they way it alwyas is, people booked cruise at least 1 year in advance, it planning.........I got my Brokeback Mountain DVD :-)
