A Simple Definition of "Work-Life Balance"

Executives in my company love to talk about balance between work and personal life. Having been at work yesterday from about 7:40 in the morning until about 8:45 last night, and then back in by 9 this morning, I have a new definition to propose:

One should be allowed at least as many hours off as one worked the day prior.

Oh, and time spent commuting counts toward time worked. Especially when the commute home involves rain, nighttime driving, sharing the road with tourists, and hitting every single stoplight between desk and bed.
