Spotted at Spider's and MiKell's:

1. Home theatre or movie theatre? -- Movie theater. Some films just need to be seen larger-than-life, and I haven't seen a home system manage that yet.
2. Hardwood or wall-to-wall? -- Hardwood ... and lots of rugs for cold mornings.
3. Pencil or ballpoint pen? -- Pen.
4. Digital or analog? -- Analog clocks ... digital thermometers. Oh, and digital audio/video, but never digital books.
5. "Wet" or dry? -- We're talking about weather, right? Dry.
6. Hardback or paperback? -- Hardback for great books I want to keep. Paperback for day-to-day reading.
7. Gasoline or electric? -- Electric if I could afford it.
8. Photograph or painting? -- Photograph.
9. Mountains or shore? -- Mountains by a mile. Though in Oregon and Washington I never had to choose between them.
10. Curtains or blinds? -- A little of both, for effect ... and a fully-dark bedroom.
11. Shower or spa tub? -- Shower -- Spa tubs are for vacations.
12. Blu-ray or HD DVD? -- Jury's still out on that one. I mean, please: I may be a techno-geek but I'm also still DVR-free.
13. Paint or wallpaper? -- Paint.
14. Thoroughly cleaned and prepped or go with the moment? -- I'm likely to be cleaned and prepped AT the moment.
15. "Ties" or "loafers" (slip-ons)? -- Ties.
16. Stick shift or automatic? -- Stick shift ... but I drive an automatic because the other half can't drive stick. Stop snickering.
17. Saturday or Sunday? -- Definitely Saturday.
18. 15% or 18%? -- 18%+ unless the service is bad. Or the server applies an automatic gratuity, which messes with my sense of math.
19. Football or soccer? -- Neither. Them's sports.
    
20. Lands End or L. L. Bean? -- Um ... Eddie Bauer.
