Last week, I decided to take Friday off as part of my contribution to the "please take your vacation this year" cost-cutting measure. This week, I'm only working 3 days because of the holiday, and then taking Friday off again as well. I anticipate really hating the 30th, because it will be my first 5-day week in a while.
To make matters worse, I overslept by an hour this morning (arriving at 9), and have my follow-up appointment with the optometrist at 3:30, so it's going to be a short day, today, to boot. Add in Wednesday's departmental Thanksgiving Potluck, and this is nearly a disposable week as is.
