Consumption of Adult Beverages

A "normal week" in recent years has found me drinking 2 alcoholic beverages, usually on Thursdays when we trek to Disney's Pleasure Island. The nice thing is, they use decently large cups for said drinks, so 2 is usually quite sufficient. But if I look over the past month, you'd think I was making up for lost time somewhere....

• Feb. 28: Traditional trip to PI, 2 drinks.
• Mar. 3: Pre-birthday trip to Full Moon Saloon, 3 drinks.
• Mar. 5: Birthday trip to Cactus Club, 2 drinks.
• Mar. 7: Traditional trip to PI, 2 drinks.
• Mar. 14: Traditional trip to PI, 2 drinks (a whole week!).
• Mar. 15: Comedy show at P House, 2 drinks.

OK, this may be mild by most standards, but I think the number is tempered by the fact that the only Adult Beverages establishment near my house would be "Roxy's: A Gentleman's Club," and most of the establishments that would draw my interest are a half-hour's drive away or better. Perhaps this is why I enjoy going on cruise ships so much — your next drink is never more than 50 yards away.
